Training programs for the efficient use of resources and clearner production
Cape Verde will implement the Program for the Efficient Use of Resources and Cleaner Production (RECP), a joint initiative of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
This common global program running in more than 47 countries, has been implemented in Cape Verde in partnership with the Government, through its offices specialized in environmental issues. This program is integrated into the One Programme of Cape Verde, contained in subprogram 5, that is dedicated to Environment, Energy, Prevention and Disaster Response. It aims to promote sustainable industrial development; acting on the efficient use of resources and cleaner production, and applying methods, practices and its own policies.
